Acupuncture Research Studies

Evidence-based research continues to show efficacy for acupuncture in the treatment of multiple conditions and disorders.  An ever-growing list of these studies can be found below.

Li, et al. (2015). Long-lasting reduction of blood pressure by electroacupuncture in patients with hypertension: Randomized control trial. Medical Acupuncture, 27(4).

Objective: To examine effectiveness of electronic acupuncture (EA) at select acupoints to reduce systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients.
